Anthesis Necklace

This blooming necklace is an intricate tangle of vines and leaves crafted in .940 argentium silver, with coiled .925 sterling silver accents. Set in the center are four earthy gemstones: emerald-cut tourmaline with green and brown coloration, smoked Ethiopian welo opal with flashes of green, blue, and red, forest green sapphire, and pale green sapphire. Melted and curled granulation provide a budding, sprouting effect. The chain and toggle clasp are meticulously hand-bent and fused with dotted granule ends out of .940 argentium silver wire. The necklace is 15.5 in (39.5 cm) long. The centerpiece is 6.3 cm across and 3.4 cm tall.
